Most people are actually engaged in selling services rather than products (e.g., accounting, dentistry, pool cleaning, web design, etc., etc.) and finding a way to market these online is a bit more tricky than selling the familiar range of online “products”. When it comes to alternatives for making a living online we internet marketers have a habit of squeezing the alternatives into a fairly rigid grid. Selling services rather than “products” does not neatly fit into this grid, so it doesn’t get discussed much.

I took a quick look at LimeExchange – it does indeed look like another good place to find freelance work.

The categories of projects are very similar to the categories in eLance.
