I agree – I remember how it was when I started out

But you need to hook up as soon as you can with someone you feel comfortable with and then keep exploring.

By which I mean this: I got involved with Wealthy Affiliate soon after I started and they were great. But since then I’ve found 2 or 3 other people that I’ve learned an enormous amount from and who are not part of the Hype Marketing crowd.

If you don’t find someone (or a group/forum/membership site) like that, it’s a question of learning the hard way – and that can be expensive.

Always think of Internet Marketing in the same way you would think of an off-line business – a restaurant, a local printing business or whatever. At the end of the day they’re no different, because they both require the same business skills and disciplines.

No quick fixes or silver bullets I’m afraid, and anyone who tries to sell you one of those is not helping you.
