This is off topic, I know, but it impressed me so much I wanted to write about it…
Over the weekend I watched, quite by chance, the film of the book by Al Gore: An Inconvenient Truth.
Actually, although the first time was by chance, I watched it twice more – because it’s very powerful and extremely well presented.
If you haven’t watched it yet I do recommend it. Al Gore is (as you would expect from someone of his experience) extremely eloquent. What I didn’t expect was his humour and his humanity.
The film is based around the presentation that he gives around the world and it’s supplemented by clips from different parts of the world that he’s travelled to in his research, and from his home and upbringing.
If you’re concerned about global warming you should watch this. And if you’re not concerned by global warming you should definitely watch it!
