A while ago I wrote a review about What’s This Web Thing – an excellent source of information and resources for anyone who’s working online. You can find the review here.
In that review I closed off by saying that they were planning a forum, but it wasn’t yet live at the time of writing.
Well now it is. Check it out here.
Based on the amount of work and effort that Jim and the team put into the website, and the quality of information they produced, the forum is going to be an invaluable resource for anyone working online, but particularly for people who are just starting out.
And there’s a growing number of people who’re doing exactly that, as I know from watching the traffic numbers on my sites and the search terms that people are typing in.
The What’s This Web Thing forum is a place for website owners to help each other, and it’s committed to being hype-free. This, as you will know if you’re a regular here, is one of my hobby-horses.
Even though the site is only 3 days old, there are already videos, groups and posts covering subjects from Web Design, Traffic Exchanges, Blogging, Social Networks, Home Business, SEO, Word of Mouth Marketing and even a group on Site Build It.
Pretty impressive for a forum that’s only 3 days old!
I do encourage you to hop over there and check it out. The What’s This Web Thing site is still a great source of information – but now you get to interact with Jim and the WTWT team through the forum, as well as with other webmasters who are ready to help wherever they can.
