As it happens, I started being very open about being an affiliate for products I reviewed (if I was an affiliate) some years ago – I think it’s professional.

But on December 1st the FTC in the States made it official: if we’re reviewing a product or service and stand to benefit if someone buys it through our link, or if we’re paid to do reviews, we have to declare that interest.

Hence the Disclosure Policy which I wrote and added to the Disclosure page on this site.

I don’t know of any off hand, but if you Google for Thesis tutorials you’ll find loads of stuff.

1.6 really does make setting up a new installation a LOT quicker because of the new design features.

Thesis seems to be a very popular choice for many websites. I have not made the jump yet to purchasing a theme, or the designer that would almost undoubtedly have to accompany it.

I like the functionality of the theme, but I fear that something so flexible requires an expert to take advantage of that flexibility (notwithstanding your review – which makes me feel a little better).

Do you know of any videos that show someone setting up a theme from scratch with Thesis? There are a couple of videos on their site, but they just don’t go that deep into the matter.
