One thing you may want to think about is to keep your audio files short – try to keep them under 1 MB, because more than that and they take an age to load.

Hi Brad,

Yes – the 5 minute restriction does force you to make succinct videos, which is good.

I’ve been considering making some videos on Thesis, but I’d need to make loads of them to impart all the information. No reason for me not to do that, but I need to plan them out first and I haven’t got around to that yet!

Filezilla really is a great program, isn’t it? It’s the only program on your list that I currently use, but I am interested in trying a few of these after reading this post.

Of particular interest is Jing since I am committed to start doing videos soon. As you know, brevity is not one of my character traits so perhaps the 5 minute lenghth restriction will be good for me?
